T4 Open House, 7th Aug 2017

So fun to spend the afternoon with my buddies at the preview of the Changi Airport Terminal 4!

Each of us registered participants received a "Boarding Pass". The QR code there was for us to log in to the T4 Open House app, games to be played on the app so that we could get eVouchers for purchases at shops and food outlets at the other terminals.


Finding our way around...


Start here!  Okay, we were all smiles cos we finally got this photo working!  Camera on self-timer, got photobombed many times! The visitors there were bored that day, I think some of them really intended to photobomb us!!!  ðŸ˜•


That's the plane we're going to take for our next trip!  In PURPLE nonetheless!!!


So we start the tour... with this area, and this ah boy teaching us how to do a self-check in, and how to tag the luggage bags with the labels.  Same system as now, except you put the luggage on the conveyor belt yourself.  Cool... can't wait to see the old aunties and uncles attempt this.  Mum, I promise to show you how to do this!  No sweat!  Easy-peasy!




4 get it?  Terminal 4?  And the pillar with the "4"?  Okay... the pillar was just a coincidence!

Two of the shophouses above are actually screens and will feature a song and mini-movie at intervals which I find very very lovely!  Sounds like Dick Lee singing the song - is it?

Join Us on Our Road Trip Through Malaysia! (Penang - Port Dickson - Malacca - Johor Bahru) Day 1 (13th Oct) - Arrival in Penang We took the early flight out (YES really early, had to check in at 6AM) via SQ to Penang.  Despite some ground vehicle trouble, we made it on the dot to the lovely island of Penang! Our personal bodyguard aka Maniscooking.com was at the airport to greet us, thereafter we hopped into our rental car (Hawk generously gave us an upgrade, but I think they just ran out of the model we orginally booked). This took us to an early lunch at Hai Beng Coffee Shop (3, Jalan Jones, George Town, 10250 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia). We had  the local fare of  lor mee, char kway teow and  wantan mee . Mid-Autumn Festival

Just bought some Moontarts from Harbour City Restaurant at Junction 8 - check them out! They're so cute and tiny and glossy - yummy to boot! I got the Macadamia Nut Pure Lotus Seed Paste (Mum prefers macadamia over walnuts anytime). And it's YUMMILICIOUS! Enough said, just look at the photos: That's the Box it came in, and look at the contents.... Here's a close-up - check out the macadamia nuts, they certainly don't short change you.... there're really quite a few. But for the amount you're paying per box, they'd better... Oh, and here's a small Pink Snow Skin Mooncake I got for Lynnette: I bought this tiny little thing (no larger than the moontart actually) from Bengawan Solo. Lynnette's been asking for one. She really enjoyed it!
