I can't believe it's been two years since my last post! Where has all that time gone? Baby is no longer a baby, she's a precocious and precious 2-yr-old. Older daughter is now 9 yrs old! And I've worked in 3 companies in 2 yrs (okay.... the first job upon returning to the workforce was a 3-mth contract job....). And we're moving to our new place in mid-December (thank God!!!). I just had such a FULL lunch!! Had this thing called Thai Style Chicken Rice which is basically chicken rice with a deep-fried chicken cutlet and a mountain of shredded cucumber, carrot, a few slivers of fresh chilli and rings of fresh onion topped with Thai sweet chilli sauce! It was so good, I finished the whole place, so now I'm feeling oily and pukey, but it was damn worth it! Ha ha ha! And now I'm nodding off at my desk in the office! Ooops!!!
Join Us on Our Road Trip Through Malaysia! (Penang - Port Dickson - Malacca - Johor Bahru) Day 1 (13th Oct) - Arrival in Penang We took the early flight out (YES really early, had to check in at 6AM) via SQ to Penang. Despite some ground vehicle trouble, we made it on the dot to the lovely island of Penang! Our personal bodyguard aka Maniscooking.com was at the airport to greet us, thereafter we hopped into our rental car (Hawk generously gave us an upgrade, but I think they just ran out of the model we orginally booked). This took us to an early lunch at Hai Beng Coffee Shop (3, Jalan Jones, George Town, 10250 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia). We had the local fare of lor mee, char kway teow and wantan mee .
